Call for Board of Director Youth Applicants

Are you looking for opportunities to get more involved in helping adults understand the youth perspective? Do you feel like you have something important to say about what it's like to be a young person living in the U.P.? The Great Lakes Center for Youth Development is seeking youth applicants for seats on our Board of Directors. If chosen, you will attend meetings while current youth directors provide mentoring. Youth must be 16-years-old to apply.

Being a youth director will allow you opportunities to:

• share your viewpoints on various youth-related topics;

• learn about how a nonprofit organization works;

• build your community service record for your resume or college application; and,

• possibly travel to an annual conference on youth development.
