Calendar, Events & Activities
One of the main reasons this site exists is to help you find out what's happening and where what's happening is going to happen. You can see our calendar, with links to provide more info on specific things, or you can visit our events and activities page which deals with ongoing local activities.

Search for Youth Programs
Take a peek at our on-line searchable database of youth activities in the Marquette and Alger areas. You can search by city, school district or county.

Youth Art
We've put a lot of work from talented young artists up on-line for the world to see! This is also a good place to find out about any upcoming art related events or opportunities in your area.

Links to Other Sites
While we do want you to stick around our site for a while, we've also made available some links to other web sites we've found that we thought you might be interested in taking a look at.

Parent Resources
Here are some links to sites that you parents may find of interest. Things like summer reading suggestions, tips on parenting, information on the 40 developmental assets for youth and Internet safety. You can also read a letter from the Marquette-Alger Youth Foundation President.

Our Vision
The MACYAP website is part of the Youth Action Plan for Marquette and Alger counties. This is a plan to improve the youth environment so youth can build more positive assets in their lives. The Vision of the Marquette and Alger Counties' Youth Action Plan is to see: "All youth participate in positive, asset-building activities that help protect them from involvement in risky behaviors and promote their healthy development."
