Dr. Tim Seiler 
Dr. Tim Seiler is director of Public Service and The Fund Raising School
and assistant professor of philanthropic studies for the Center on Philanthropy
at Indiana University – the premiere fundraising program in the country.
Dr. Seiler, an alumnus of The Fund Raising School, has been a faculty
member since 1986 and director since 1994. He teaches customized contract
programs as well as core curriculum courses and frequently makes conference
and seminar presentations nationally and internationally.
He has authored and edited numerous fundraising publications and is
currently editor-in-chief of the Excellence in Fundraising
workbook series from Jossey-Bass Publishers, Inc. and author of the
workbook Developing Your Case for Support.
The Fund Raising School has been teaching ethical fundraising for 30
years and has 30,000 alumni. In a survey of those graduates, 83 percent
said they experienced an increase in funds within the first year of
taking courses at the school and 96 percent said the coursework met
or exceeded their expectations.
