You are invited to share your expertise at the Great Lakes Center for Youth Development’s 9th Annual U.P. Nonprofit Conference which will be held Friday, October 18, 2013, at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI.
We are seeking proposals for workshops that deliver relevant and thought-provoking information and concepts to conference goers.
This year’s theme is Pulling Together. Making a Difference. Great Lakes Center for Youth Development will select speakers and workshops to help attendees pull together resources, knowledge and connections so they can make a difference in their communities. The theme stems from the idea of collective impact, an approach to solving societal problems based on the idea that no organization acting alone can solve complex issues.
It is our desire that attendees leave with new connections, feeling invigorated and enthused as well as equipped to make a difference.

Workshops are a maximum of 75 minutes in length. Proposals that address and support issues of nonprofit sustainability and capacity building are encouraged. To assist with your proposal development, we have developed the enclosed submission guidelines.
The deadline for submissions is June 28, 2013.
