Infants & Toddlers (birth to 35 months)

Preschoolers (ages 3 to 5)

  1. Parent(s) has personal power and models coping skills.
  2. Parent(s) models high self-esteem.
  3. Parent(s) has a sense of purpose and models these beliefs.
  4. Parent(s) has a positive view of the future.

Elementary-Age Children (ages 6-11)

  1. Child feels he or she has some control over things that happen.
  2. Child has high self-esteem.
  3. Child has a sense of purpose.
  4. Child is optimistic about her or his own future.

Teenagers (ages 12-18)

  1. Teenager has a healthy sense of personal power.
  2. Teenager has high self-esteem.
  3. Teenager believes her or his life has a sense of purpose.
  4. Teenager has a positive view of her or his future.
